Tom Colucci was a good friend of mine who recently passed. Tommy and I enjoyed playing music together, hanging out in his antique store, Chagrin Valley Antiques and going out to dinner with his lovely wife, Dianna. Tom Colucci the daylily is a light purple flower with a blue eye zone, blending into a yellow green throat. Easily fertile both ways. $150 SOLD OUT.

This lovely purple daylily is named for a wonderful friend of mine who unfortunately passed away a year ago. Frank was my AA sponsor. He taught me a lot about how to act right in all situations. He was a power of example to me and someone who enjoyed joking around with me as well. Frank was a veteran and served in Vietnam. He was and always will be a class act. Frank Harnichar the daylily is a purple flower complemented by a lighter watermark and a corresponding double edge of light purple and gold. It does occasionally water spot, but most of the time it shows off the wonderful blooms above. Fertile both ways. SOLD OUT. $200. Should appear on the Lily auction in the years to come.

This is one stunning red! A cross that went just as planned. I was hoping to capture that lovely pinkish watermark on a cardinal red flower and that's exactly what happened. It has nice ruffles and it is complemented by that lovely yellow green throat. Named for a song from an 80's band by the name of ABC. Fertile both ways. $150 SOLD OUT. This lovely patterned daylily boasts the best scape of any patterned daylily in the garden. Nice, tall 36 inch scapes with textbook branching, spacing the flowers out for a lovely presentation. Light yellow to tan colored blooms with patterned eye zone of dark violet and blue inner areas, blending into large yellow green throat. The pattern has an almost metallic glint on the some days which I think is special and needs to be explored more. Dune is pollen fertile only. I have never set a pod on it. $100 SF SOLD OUT.

This cross demanded to be made. I was pleased enough with the results to name it Orb Weaver. (named for that very unique yellow and black spider I see every year.) Lovely yellow blooms with that violet patterned eye zone. Very consistent pattern I should add....I haven't seen a bloom on it that wasn't patterned. Pollen fertile, but I haven't set pods on it. $125 SOLD OUT but should be available on The Lily auction in the future.

I had this lovely golden yellow seedling planted out at my Mom's house for years. When she went into assisted living I knew I had to rescue it and bring it back home. It's a daylily you see from a distance. Takes a year to establish. Doesn't seem to like to be moved. Once it is happy it will put on a show for you each year.
