I remember the day I discovered this seedling in the front yard. It was in a very crowded area, but the flower was so incredible I immediately got a flag and carefully traced the scape down to the ground. Didn't want to take the chance of losing it when I dug some of the surrounding seedlings to be culled. Each year after that initial year the pattern stayed consistent with every bloom. The Downward Spiral is a light purple color with a striking concentric ring pattern, blending into a yellow green throat. Easily fertile both ways and an incredible parent. Passes on it's pattern very consistently. SOLD OUT. Sorry, this one was very popular early on and it will probably be some time before I will have any for sale. Watch for it on The Lily Auction.

I think Fractured will be a great stepping stone into some nice blue patterned eye zones going forward. Fractured is a cream colored flower with blue, light blue, and violet patterned eye zone blending into a yellow green throat. Fractured needs to be established before it really starts to put on it's show. It is fertile both ways. SOLD OUT. Another one that people saw on Facebook and had to get early. Sorry, but should appear on the Lily Auction in the future.

Bi tone with dark red petals, golden yellow sepals, and large golden yellow teeth. Fertile both ways. A lovely toothy that when established puts on a very nice show. $100, SOLD OUT. Red flower with a smokey pattern of light red, blending into a yellow green throat. I was amazed at how this flower was so strongly hardy after the first winter which was extremely cold. When it established it really put on a show with each bloom looking different each day. Fertile both ways, but pods a little more difficult. $150 SOLD OUT. Anytime you cross a Steve Moldovan intro with a Curt Hanson intro, only great things can happen. Such is the case with The Winter Soldier. Cream colored flower with pink tints, and a gold toothy edge, blending into a yellow green throat. This is one of the last flowers in bloom each season. A real stand out in the very late season daylily garden. I am very proud of this introduction. Sets pods easily when established. Named for one of my favorite Marvel movies which has some scenes that were filmed here in Cleveland, Ohio. Fertile both ways. $150 SOLD OUT, but should be offered on The Lily Auction this Fall.

This lovely introduction really stole the show in the late season this year. Huge 8 inch golden yellow blooms with a lovely green throat that spills out onto the petals. It invites you in for a closer look every time you walk by it. Fertile both ways.$150, SOLD OUT. Will be available on The Lily Auction in the future. Named for one of my favorite bands, The Police's album, Zenyatta Mondatta. Stewart Copeland, the bands drummer says, "It means everything. It doesn't have a specific meaning."

Brilliant orange with a pencil thin red eye, blending into a lighter orange throat, knobby edge. Smashing Pumpkins has a very unusual texture. I don't breed for the color orange, but this one was so unique I had to introduce it. Fertile both ways. SOLD OUT. Should be available on The Lily Auction very soon.
